Welcome to this, our first newsletter after our March fundraising event. Thank you to everyone who donated. With matched funding and gift aid, your amazing generosity has helped us to raise over £9,000. This means that we have been able to complete repayment of the Copse purchase loan. Your support has given us fresh enthusiasm and we can now focus on maintenance of the Copse, and our work to increase the biodiversity, protecting the flora and fauna - THANK YOU

Do you enjoy ‘The Watches?’ (Springwatch and Winterwatch). If so, and you are a regular viewer, you will know that each programme offers a ‘Mindful Moment.’ This is usually a short video of a peaceful scene or event. There are no voices, only natural sounds (water, birds, animals). Essentially it is all about the natural world, encouraging you to relax, even if only briefly, and to tune in to nature. The Copse hosted a fantastic local cub scout troop on Sunday 16th March. Whilst the Copse is a usually a place of quiet and wildness, it was wonderful to see it come alive with enthusiastic young people and their scout leaders. So much energy and commitment.
